John O. Rudberg was a very early settler on Pine Lake havng purchased 110 acres of land on the eat side of the lake that extended over to Beaver Lake. The photo card is of the bay where the Public Landing is now. Ruudberg turned the house into a hotel until 1930. Razed in 1951.
