Pine Terrace, Oconomowoc, Wis. Built in 1877 by Henry Schutter, wagon maker, Chicago. They called it Mon Bijon (my Jewel). Still there in 2005. Condominiums built in 1986 on acregage towards Fowler Lake. 158 acre farm, orginally owned by John Roackwell. |Patterned after castle near Vienna. 1922 Mr. Mertz bought and operated as Pine Terrace Resort. 1928 bought by Annetta Ziebelman.She removed castle towers and ran it until 1981. 1988 by Rip O'Dwany operated as bed and breakfast.
